Internet Business Invitation

Just got this through my email...hooray for the "Internet Business" as an "independent contractor"... most creative spam I have come across recently.

Subject: INTERNET BUSINESS √ Invitation

Hello,

Would you like to work from home and get paid weekly?
WFA Corp. is an international Internet company. Every month we give online work to hundreds of people from United States and Europe. From the beginning of March we require new officials and partners.

WHY WE INVITE YOU?
The international money transfers tax for registered companies in The United States is more than 15%. There is no sense for international companies to work this way, whereas for individuals it is only 1%-7%. We need online employees to operate payments from our off-line clients or our company’s branch in money orders and to operate the funds to our online accounts or to accounts of our clients by International Wire and Western Union Transfers. As a result we will save money for our clients because of tax decrease.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
1. Receive payments from our US or Europe clients.
2. Deduct 5% - your commission.
3. Send international transfers as an individual.

HOW MUCH WILL YOU E@RN?
At the beginning your fee will be 5% per each operation, though in future it will increase up to 10%!

ADVANTAGES
You are to work as an independent contractor right from your home. You can e@rn up to $2000-4000 monthly depending on time you spend for the job. You do not need any capital to start. You can do the work easily without leaving or affecting your present job if you could spend for our job 1-3 hours daily.
Members who make efforts and work hard have a good chance to become managers. Anyway our employees never leave us due to our work conditions.

MAIN REQUIREMENTS
18 years or older
Legally capable
Responsible
Ready to work 3-10 hours a week
Strong PC skills
E-mail and internet experience (minimal)
Any of UNITED STATES or European bank account, you don't have to use your own account with your money, and you may register a new one and operate it.
If you are interested in our proposition please respond to this message by e-mail.

Thanks for your anticipated action and we hope to hear back from you soon.

Ode to the Nice Guys

"This is a tribute to the nice guys. The nice guys that finish last, that never become more than friends, that endure hours of whining and bitching about what assholes guys are, while disproving the very point. This is dedicated to those guys who always provide a shoulder to lean on but restrain themselves to tentative hugs, those guys who hold open doors and give reassuring pats on the back and sit patiently outside the changing room at department stores."

Pakistan Hijacks YouTube: A Closer Look

Pakistan Hijacks YouTube: A Closer Look: "Just before 18:48 UTC, Pakistan Telecom, in response to government order to block access to YouTube (see news item), started advertising a route for 208.65.153.0/24 to its provider, PCCW (AS 3491). For those unfamiliar with BGP, this is a more specific route than the ones used by YouTube (208.65.152.0/22), and therefore most routers would choose to send traffic to Pakistan Telecom for this slice of YouTube’s network."

Posting something technical for once. Apperently Pakistan decided to do a BGP route injection for YouTube hosts a few days back.
